It would have to be the Mariner 40. It looks and flies right! I should have put a couple on the shelf when they were available.

Marek I am thinking something a little smaller in the 48-60" size for the Fairchild. @ almost 80" thats a pretty large plane for a single.

Marek after researching a little bit I have found out that Lanier RC was bought by Hobbico. As such one would need to be granted the rights from them to reproduce the plane in kit form. It is something I can research, but do not hold my breath that they would be willing to give this up without a giantic monetary investment.

I think I have settled on the next plane I will do for a kit. After researching I have discussed with Zeke and think I will be doing the Fairchild 91 Baby Clipper. We will deviate a little from scale on the Nacelle and pylon mount for the engine because the frontal area of the nacelle is as wide as the fuselage. Reducing the diameter would go a long way in making the plane look much better. I am leaning towards making it in the 48" span size. There could be the option of removable landing gear on it. I also may add in the flaps, but again they won't be scale. They would be split flaps rather than the zap flaps.

I agree on that one and it is my understanding that the Robbe is no longer in production

The Robbe model was a nice little flyer, but alas, I believe it suffered from some expensive tooling and thus limited appeal. I did notice on the Robbe site it was listed at 79 Euro during the close out but was not able to capitalize on the offering.

A kit is available from TopNotchKits.com

I built one a few years back. Floats are also available. Just be sure to add a subfin or extra fins on the horiz stab. Doesn't fly well with floats without that extra fin area.
