Extra 3D Adrenalin and some Q's
I ordered the plane from NESail with the Rotex package. Doesn't say what prop it comes with but I do have a question about the props.
According to this chart:
Motor Prop (GWS) Battery Amps Thrust (gms)
Rotex 25/6/15 10 x 4.7 2-cell Li-Poly 5 270
Rotex 25/6/15 11 x 4.7 2-cell Li-Poly 6 310
Rotex 25/6/15 9 x 5 3-cell Li-Poly 7.5 440
Rotex 25/6/15 10 x 4.7 3-cell Li-Poly 10.2 500
Rotex 25/6/15 11 x 4.7 3-cell Li-Poly 10.5 550
If I were to use the 10x4.7 GWS props which pulls out 10.2 amps of current load with the 10 amp esc it comes with, would it fry the esc???
reason I ask is because I have a few 10x4.7 props that can be used. I want to put them into good use and not just let it sit there..
Boy I can't wait for some brushless action.
Oh one more thing. it comes with the 700mAh 3 cell lipo. Could I go with 800s or even 1200s??
I would like to use 2 cells instead of three. If using 2 cell is possible for this motor setup, how much mAh would be needed to draw enough power for the motor? I was thinking like a 2 cell thunder power 2100 or something similar without drawing over 10 amps

i don't know anything about this plane, but i'm guessing that TP 2100s are gonna be a little much, considering that stock is a 700. Also, the TP 2100s can easily handle 20 amps.

okay nevermind. The TP cells pull out 12-14 amps.
Now I just found out about Tanic Lipos. 1100mah 2 cells pull out 10-11 amps. Should I be safe with the CC 10 amp esc?
