power setup for skysurfer
Hi i am running a turnigy d2826/6 2200kv with a 35amp speed control and 6x6 prop and 3 cell 2200 bat. it seem that in flight wot the motor sputters the esc is somwhat warm and same with the motor it also seems under powered any suggestions thanks...

Too much prop... drop down to 5.5x4.5 or 6x4 at most...all you are doing is bogging down the motor and turning input power (25A-30A?) into heat. That motor is only good for around 150W-200W at most. What RPM are you getting?

The motor should be fine.
Are your electronics getting air flow? If not, that very well could be your problem.
I have a Easystar which is basically the same plane. I upgraded the system similar to yours. Everything was inside the fuse. The first couple times I flew it everything was very hot. Could not hold my finger on the ESC!
I cut a opening in the front of the canopy and cut an air passageway thru the back of the cockpit area and up and out thru the wing. Now everything stays cool.
As the others have said, a 6x6 prop is to much. I run a 6x4.
