My 1st experience with HK
So far, I've ordered from Tower Hobbies.
I have 1 order with HK, and was given a UPS tracking number which UPS doesn't appear to understand. Here's my chat with Andy this a.m.

[20:15:03] Andy: Hi phillip! Thank you for contacting HobbyKing! How may I help you today?
[20:15:27] phillip: Hi there... Do you know what the estimated delivery date is on order no:xxxxxxxxxxx
[20:15:34] Andy: One moment please.
[20:15:44] phillip: sure
[20:16:19] Andy: Your order was posted 23/08/2013 via International (Registered) Air Mail with 6 to 39 days transit time.
[20:16:52] phillip: Oh!,,, didn't know it was international shipping. I guess it wasn't shipped from a US warehouse then.
[20:17:21] phillip: Is tracking available?
[20:18:18] Andy: Yes, Here is the tracking number xxxxxxxxxxxxxx It begins with RC btw....
[20:18:48] phillip: Thanks... I'll look for it in a week or two. If I order something else, is there a way to make sure I'm ordering from a US warehouse?
[20:20:29] Andy: You order your item from our international warehouse
[20:20:56] phillip: I understand that. If I order in the future, will it come from China or a US warehouse...
[20:21:30] phillip: Do you have US warehouses?
[20:21:48] Andy: Yes we have warehouse in U.S
[20:22:17] phillip: If I order something else from HK, is there a way to make sure it's ordered from the US warehouse?
[20:22:46] Andy: You can see the product if they came from U.S warehouse
[20:23:09] phillip: OK,,, thanks. The tracking number you gave me. Is that a US postal tracking number?
[20:23:25] Andy: That is the tracking number of your parcel
[20:23:51] phillip: Is it UPS, United States Postal, Fed Ex, ? etc...
[20:24:55] Andy: Yes. UPS is currently experiencing a high volume of shipment which may have caused the delay in updating your tracking status.
[20:25:28] phillip: OK, I'll keep an eye open for it, via UPS tracking.
[20:25:43] Andy: Is there anything else I may help you with?
[20:25:53] phillip: that's pretty much it. Thanks
[20:26:05] Andy: You're welcome! Have a great day!

Of course, UPS doesn't recognize this tracking number.... I guess I sit on my hands and wait another 2 weeks or so? I found it odd, that they shipped my 3 orange RX's via UPS.

In the catalog listing, the source of the product is identified. In the case shown below, the globe by the price shows you are ordering from the International (HK) warehouse. It also shows by the flags what other warehouses carry the product. Click on the flag and it takes you to that warehouse.
In the product list on the left side of the page at the top it shows either "Global Warehouse" or "USA/Canada Warehouse". By putting the mouse pointer on that name you can change the location.
How much did you pay for shipping?
UPS is $35
USPS international airmail is $5.95. USPS does not give tracking info anymore till the package is on the truck for delivery.
Delivery time runs 10-30 days usually.

Hi there Hop's... My HK profile says, Value: 23.56... I thought I ordered 3 of those rascals. Maybe I ordered just one. I don't have the email in front of me right now, so I can't look over the order. I logged into my account, but can't seem to find my history...

When you sign in you're taken to the "View My Account" page. There's a box with your name and other info.....or go to that page.
Click on "CHECK", you should see that order and a tracking number.
Click on the "VIEW" by that order number and you will see the details.

I found this info.. I bought (3) of those suckers, AND, it looks to be coming USPS instead of UPS...
Shipment International (Registered) Air Mail 101-200g US$5.99

You probably won't see any tracking info till you've received the package. 2-3 weeks +/-
ALERT - HK requires USPS to get a signature for delivery. No signature, no delivery. (Unless you're in tight with the mailman and he signs for you)

Power them up and check each channel with a servo to make sure they work. I had a bad one 5 years ago but since then all have been OK. Very good range test out pass 250'.
