October at the Gorge
James Duarte and I finally finished our JW's and headed out to Carrizo Gorge the first opportunity we had... there was rain all the way out to the hill but when we parked, it let up and we scooted up the hill faster than ever (it's easy with just a JW and not a bag full of heavies). The storm cleared out within an hour and we were burning laps, disappearing in the clouds from time to time. My dub was really heavy and when it started going fast it lost elevator authority... in the end of the vid with both dubs going round and round eventually only one comes out of the bottom turn.

Yeah Ray... watch the end of the video again. We walk back with it and I'm showing Duarte what I thought the plane did.
I still have to open up the wing and find out what happened to the battery/tx... all the gear was in the wing. There was nothing but weight in the nose and it all exited and is now a part of the mountain.

We had such a great time! Chorizo was really good to us and we had a blast! Next time we should get a bunch of JW's up there!! Is so much fun....
