Skycar!

11x17x3"
85-95g rtf.
Should be fun at the gym as it can flip over, and back while clearing the 5.5" prop.
Maybe it will fly as good as I'm sure it will drive..

Will do!

Update.. just flew a pack in the breezes outdoors!

Rolls like a drill bit, flips all around, and the reflex curved airfoil keeps it upright.

Crazy hovering rolls.. in either direction!!

One complaint.. "wing rock".

The rock is part product of breeze induced oscillations, and only part-time in hover/harrier.

Needs some side fins, but how much, and where??

Here is the bottom..

Try increasing the area of the vertical tail.

If you build another plane, make the trailing edge of the wing longer than the leading edge, this will provide some "delta" in the planform.

Congrats on your creativity, your plane is oh so cool.

I just noticed the side fins are canted outwards at the top, this adds dihedral, which contributes to wing rocking ( Dutch Roll ).

Even mounted vertically they will have some dihedral effect. Maybe try having the same amount of fin below the wing as above it.

Thanks guys..
I will get to fly it tomorrow in a bigger venue. !
I will show (and figure out) what it can really do.
Needs changes to increase pitch/flip authority.
Considering canard mixing as it will not take off.
Yes I can cut the rudder
Pitch motor vector would be better as it can "drive" on it's side.
The canard would kill the side drive but fly good.

Stay tuned..
