A1Tango, I did talk to Cliff and looks like the 737 may stay back East for a while. Seems there was some slight damage when they shipped it and the container was pretty much unusable so they need to find another one. I didn't get any estimate but will keep bugging Cliff to get it back here so we can finish it.

Certainly not a 737-900. It's more like a 737-800.
Based on a span of 88'' (without winglets) the -900 would have a length of 108''.

WOW That's nice looking.
Really does look like the RCA 737 (Fuselage, windows and stab mount)
Would like to see the link to this sale.
Thanks for posting!

Your right on the dime on that ,, but the gent calls it a 900 and pics could confuse
as it is dawm long while he holds it ,,, he could have made a mistake on the dimension ... who knows ,, lol

Talked to Cliff today about the 737 and he told me all the issues have been worked out and the kit is moving into production. He's expecting his first shipment sometime in July.

hi guys I was woundering about c of g?

Hi I am chuck. A friend passed me one of these to build. I am almost done. It is on a dx18. I rearranged the gear doors with hinge points, swapped servo orientations, changed the flap arrangement a bit ( funtana wheel pants), and a few other little things. Now one does know how to calculate the c of g, however, is there fuselage lift? Should I go like 25%? Of course logic says it's going to be like say 5 degrees in front of the main gear axle center. What do I do? Thanks alot for the excellent build feed. It's sooo much extra work to share your progress as you have. Cheers.

edgruberman72 the CG is at the leading edge of the rear door over the wing.
Hope this picture better describes it.

I made a balancing block of 2 pieces of a 2x4 cut to triangle and rounded the top.
Place these at the balancing point under the wing and move the battery tray till you get it balanced.

Did you increase the elevator area? This is going to be important!
I think you have one of the earlier kits which has the smaller elevators. The new kits have this fixed.

Post some pictures. Would love to see your plane!!!!

If you don't want to go through all the work I did on the elevator, you can just glue some clear styrene or something to the surface of the elevator to increase the area.

Demondriver, LOL yes that's a confirmation that we've not gotten this plane airborne yet. It's been more than a year since I've seen the plane. I've been bugging Cliff about getting it back here to Washington as it's still back east. I'm seeing him again this weekend so will bug him again.
There is a Jet rally in Oregon in August that would be neat to enter this plane in so will see what happens. I've been busy working on RCA's new B25 (Another post here in RCGroups) that's almost done.
