Started work on painting up the wing. After a good look I notice that the previous owner had broken the front tabs which hold the front of the wing in place off. The repair was very neat. So considering I've drilled two deep holes into the wing right back to the joining spar and glued some 3mm CF tube in. That'll prevent it happening again.

I'll saw the tubes off and neaten up the ends.

Thanks for the tips guys.

Decided to re-paint all the blue pits by brush with a gloss blue paint fram Humbrol. Started on the tail to see how it looks.... Easy to paint with, and coveres great. But the gloss finish does seem to make the foam beeds stand out more than a flat color.

I would like to install some other wheels.
Are the plastic axel ends just screwd on, or are they glued ?
Mine seem pretty much stuck on there

Looks good! I had no idea about the wheels, good to know. My stock paint appears to come off really easily. It still looks ok. I should have put on some water based polyurethane to keep it nice, but I think its too late now. I will just live with it until I repaint some time. In the interim, I will just fly as is.----Metalguy
