Futaba Digital S3050 std


Is Futaba Digital S3050 std any good to use on my rudder.

well... "anygood".... not really... if you are only going to learn on the shuttle then go for an other heli real soon then the 3050 is fine... but if you are planing to keep it for a a bit of time then i'd at least go with a servo that can reach .11 sec for 60 deg.. like the FUTABA 9252

The 3050 will work for a beginner, but it's pretty slow for a tail servo (.20sec), once you advance with your flying, your definitely going to want a better servo (probably a better gyro to). If your going to buy one, I would go with the 9254, it's a lot better servo for the tail then the 9252, the 9254 is a high speed servo made for the tail. The 9252 is .14sec and the 9254 is .06sec
