I can only hope my looks half that good when she's done. Just started the build, so it will be a while. Have fun Mike!

Thank you guys. This is the first build I've done since the 70s. Even though I've built many planes I've never flown them, I was always afraid that I would crash. However I do intend on flying this one once I become a little more proficient at flying. Just learned to fly a couple of weeks ago. There is a professional RC pilot in my club who I will buddy box with.

I'll get that video posted when I do the maden flight.

Mike, thanks for the great tip on obtaining paint to match the Ultracoat. I didn't know about the little sprayer until now. Your RV4 is beautiful!

Soft landings,

Joe

A buddy of mine managed to find a discontinued GP ARF version of the RV-4. Is slightly larger than the featured plane here, and he has an OS 75 two stroke in it. What a beautiful plane! An it does fly nice! Got me back into the building mood to finish mine. Working on the wheel pants and cowl. Oh what fun. Putty, sand, putty, sand, putty some more.......

It's alive, unfortunately I didn't have my video camera only a smart phone and the camera guy didn't do a very good job. The important thing is my electric conversion worked out better than I expected. All my research and design mods worked out wonderfully.

Sorry I get this msg when I try to upload videos:
