Come on, do you really need to ask kindergarden math on a forum? In the time it took you to write the post, you could have calculated it yourself ten times over, in the time it would take to get a reply you could build the damn frame.

Just a bit of Math. You could calculate the smallest you can go and still use 10 inch props. Or just find the distance after a given length of an arm. For example, if it was smallest quad that would use 10s. Plug in 10 for the hypot. Maybe 10.5 for clearance. Then your two, 45 angles since its a quad. Will give you the length of arms. Like n3mo said simple math. I've never built a custom quad before. But I did stay at a holiday inn express last night.

What software are you using to draw out your frame Saskya? I have been working on a Spyder style frame and while it is just math it is nice to have someone verify what your thinking. We all can't be math majors and need a little bit of validation. Good luck with your build and post up some pics.

Ten in props require a minimum arm length. Of 7.42 inches. Center of frame to center of prop. That's 14.8 or 15 inches diameter from prop to prop center.

Dude, make an effort. You are so vague that it is ridiculous.
