A few pictures of Astoria, Oregon & Ft Stevens

We took a short road trip yesterday and visited Astoria. It was the most intense wind I have ever flown my quad in but everything came home in one piece.

That stripped look out pole in Astoria would be an amazing shot.

Indeed! I am headed back another time to spend some quality time with the Astoria Column. When we got there it was blowing about 25 to 35 mph and the tower park was fairly crowded with people. I didn't like the idea of flying with this combination so will try again later.

Nice! Astoria is one of my and many Portlanders "going to the coast" destinations and I love seeing from such a different perspective. The bridge pic is my favorite.
