I will use Change Sun high performance 70MM 10 blade EDF unit.

any suggestions or comments to make this plane fly? how about the thrust?
I would like to achieve a 3.5+kg or more.

I would use some good Change sun 90mm or HET 90mm Edfs and some good 80Amp Hobbywing ESC's and good 40C+ 5 or 6 Cell Lipos

This is gonna be a great build! subbed by Space-A!

If you want to go with 70mm CS fans, have a look at this thread. It shows the test results with different motors with 4/5/6 cell lipos to help you pick the right one for the performance you're after

5S Test Results:

Turnigy L2855 - 2100kv
5S 4400 65C
Vm: 18.82
Ap: 54.70

Thrust (kg): 1.8

how about the servos? how many servos i would need if my specs are..

ailerons
elevator
rudder
flaps ( takeoff and landing)
gear doors


retracts??....

retracts??....

15-20 gram mini servos

2 ailerons
4 or 2 flaps
2 elevators
1 rudder
1 nose wheel steering

And maybee you should use 3 servoless retracts.

Mike I would say the lower one is the better option Sir. . .. but either one of these might be too small for your control surfaces. . . .you might wanna moove up from Micro to mini servos and pic a metal gear servo like the carona which have NEVER failed me and have solid reviews.

i will buy MG servos for the aeilrons. rudder and elevator only

but the gear doors and nose wheels steering is onyl an ordinary servo?

is that okay? or do you know some servo combo packages?

Last time I checked Nitroplanes has some edf esc & servo combos

And a regular mini servo is fine for nose gear steering.
