I and my friend started designing for one just couple of weeks ago. What a coincidence..
What size is your plane and from where you got 3-way pics for it or did you convert it from Beanie´s pusher version plans? (I got the pusher version myself)
We intend to use 70mm fan which actually makes the plane 1:10 if we want to keep almost scalelike nosecones and intakes. And retracts of course.
We shall see if we manage to get it done someday..

Hi Ceeray, I scaled up a paper fold model template that I purchased and downloaded on line from a website (www.fiddlersgreen.net) and converted it to a foam model. This plane uses a 55 mm fan unit coupled with a 4700 KV brushless motor. It weighs about 390 grams and is 100 cm long with a 59 cm wing span. Good luck with your model and please keep me posted with your progress.

Nice job! Love to see those paper to Depron conversions. I recently finished my EDF-40 MiG-21 and 17 conversions.
Also just did another Profile Pusher MiG-21.
I started out a few years back with the FG F-86 a very easy conversion and not bad looking either when complete. I then moved to more scale paper conversions once I got the hang of it.
