Freewing is the leader in foam jets and although may cost more is worth the extra.

Thanks guys
I was leaning toward the freewing.
I'm glad to know the quality is good on them.
motion is about 100 miles from me so shipping
should be good.

Like any brand of ARF, there will be quality issues on occasion and often you can make performance improvements if you are willing to spend extra time and money.
Freewing planes just seem to have decent performance and reliability in comparison to the rest.

Yes, I agree with the above, my 2 pennies-

FMS is the leader on prop warbirds for sure. The best all around warbird for sale right now has to be the FMS version 8, P-51 in a 1450mm size as far as fit, finish, completion and every day usability out of the box goes (a little anemic still but for a scale offering, it's just fine).

Freewing does EDF way better, especially now with their affinity for improving their EDF offerings and optimizing / improving their ducting and durability for EDF airframes. Freewing make what most people are looking for in an everyday flyer ARF EDF.

Agree 100% with Eddie. Freewing = EDF leader while FMS = Prop leader. But both companies are also pretty in the other category - meaning Freewing also makes pretty good prop planes and FMS also makes pretty good EDFs.
