how easily tunable are the rear trim and skid fins?

let us know your settings and tuning tips.

I've added lead weight to my ft009's nose to keep the bow down to reduce hopping.

Re: SeByDocKy received his new ft012..

The quality is very impressive. Design and component selection and placement is
excellent engineering. A classy boat!

So what is the battery plug actually called?

I searched the thread, and saw a lot of mentions of "Tamiya", so I ordered a Tamiya charging cable, and it absolutely does not fit the battery's plug…

if you adding extra weight it may be better to checkout trim tabs..

Ah, *micro* Tamiya.

Hmm, not seeing any micro Tamiya charging cables. Just adapters, which in my experience can cause problems for charging.

Anyone know of a direct banana cable to male micro Tamiya?

Buy T connectors off ebay, its the cheapest solution. You can get 10 pair packs off ebay for the price of 1 pair at a hobby store.

I use Jst connectors for my micros under 1000mah

T or Deans connectors for my mini's around the ft009's size. Most esc's this size use them.

Then bullet connectors on my big batteries and esc's

For the past 2 years I've just been using the $20 Traxxas 2-3 cell lipo charger. It gets a little warm charging bigger batteries but it got the job done while I was getting started in lipo.I am planning on upgrading chargers now, it doesn't balance them very well, but it works without issues.

I don't mod/solder stuff, and I like to review things as they come out-of-the-box. I just want a normal cable that goes from banana plugs to the plug type already on the battery.
