Great job on the repair. Glad the pictures of engine mount were helpful. Luckily you don't have a plastic spinner or your battery might almost be next to servo tray . I currently have a 3300mah 3 cell 30C battery and I needed to extend the battery tray about 2.0". I find this plane is nose heavy and I am contemplating moving the rudder servo to the tail. In this location I think it will be much more solid and crisp on rudder inputs.

The model was always nose heavy , even as it comes out of the box. If you look back near the beginning of the thread, I posted a picture of how I extended the battery tray rearwards.

Winter is fast approaching and I want to do some snow flying this season. Has anybody ever installed mini fiberglass floats 530mm https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dproduct=62950. 3D flying won't really be an option but I can at least do some sport flying.

I have installed ski before but I find them very fragile and finicky to setup with those small springs to keep them on the correct angle. When installing floats I would like to use the front landing gear and then add support to fuselage for the rear float support. I want to play with the location so my CG does not change from wheels to floats. Hopefully they will not be way back because plane is nose heavy. I guess there is only one way to find out, just go for it.

Haha. Your summer is December to February? I will be freezing my ass off if last winter is any indication. Looks like your summer temperatures are very comfortable.

It's been a long time since I've flown this plane. It was suppose to be retired since it's one of my favorites. However with the recent Red Bull Air Race I was inspired to fly this plane again. However I decided to change the looks to match Pete McLeod's Edge 540 V3. Without anymore delay here's mine.

Looks great. I really like the look with the 3 bladed prop. What size prop is it?

Boys,
someone replaced landing gear metal screws with plastic screws in order to avoid axtensive damages in case of heavy landings?
..I mean the screws that hold landing gear with the fuselage...
