According the hobbyking themselves it means that when it arrives to the warehouse it takes 7-10days more to arrive .. its to bad they cant say a more specific date..but i asked them yesterday on the chat and they said it should arrive within 10 days so hopefully it will be restocked soon, honestly im very disappointed that it should take 2months or more to restock...

RVOSD Return To Home saved my skyfun on the weekend - after launch the video quickly faded to nothing just a short distance from home but too far to take over line of sight. Turned out the centre pin on the inverted vee antenna had come loose...argggghhh

Love it.

My video died on me 2 miles out and over water. Just flicked return to home on my DragonOSD and it came back. This was on a skysurfer.

I tell you those 6-8 minutes it took to get back to me were the most nerve racking minutes of my life.

Do you have a pic of the setup?

timtimtim - No pics, theres really not that much to it with an fpv skyfun setup. Heaps of space inside the fuz no problem with gear placement.

Blueprint - the moments in darkness are very scary indeed. RTH has saved me a few times now sounds like dragonosd paid for itself for you too. One time my old funjet was 6km out when video disappeared totally and it flew back safely no problem. But theres nothing quite like that feeling when you wait for contact and just pray you have flicked the right switch and hope autopilot does what its supposed to do.

I put winglets on mine, and it reduced wobble drastically. Dont make them too large, or it will affect your crosswind flying.

I use a motorcycle learher glove to launch some of my wings. Got wacked once with the glove on and it was a slight pinch.

Some of my smaller wings i launch it like a boomerang and it has been fine. So long as you do a solid follow through in your throw you will be fine.

do you use full thtrottle at the throw?

2/3 to full no probs here, both a 3s 400w setup and a 4s 800w as well but I've never thought it was a problem, doubt is a terrible thing though

I have even witnessed the witness launch his skyfun in autopilot rth mode.... radio switched off, chuck the skyfun in the air and watch it fly itself!!! spooky

Maby thats a safe option to launch it while RTH is engaged?
