The Song Bird

@ DD - yes it looks great.

@ CWRR5 - Your are correct... sort of. I have a semi-geological perspective since I am now plenty-nine years old. The Sky King program that I loved was a TV show that aired between 1952 and 1959. There were 72 episodes. I can tell that I was about 8 or 9 at the time I was watching because I was completely oblivious to Penny, Sky Kings attractive niece, and keenly and vividly aware of the guns, planes, horses and bad guys.

The Songbird was what ever plane Sky King was flying, kind of like Air Force One is whatever the President is flying.

For episodes 1-39 the Songbird was a T-50 Bobcat. For episodes 40-72 it was a Cessna 310.

@Neil/Maxxnut - I saw that too. I think that was probably an individual test run kit. It was a one off and probably the final price will be different.

And just to complicate matters, there is another lovely T-50 on offer. Zeke Brubaker of Parkscale models has kits cut and instructions are pending.

I am fairly sure to own one of Pat's and one of Zeke's.

Some actual work on the plane

There was time for a bit of work on the airframe.
