Hi hoping someone can recomend an alternative to the stock motor on the premier gen 2 unite I want to use it on a premier delta box orange rush as a 2d unit or does anyone know the kv or size of the standard motor any help would be much appreciated thanks Dave

the original motor has around 1800 kv, weighs 25grs.
A motor of the double weight with 1600 - 1700kv should work as an alternative.

I have the 9 ft. premier rc eagle that uses thePremier gen. 2 power unit.
In this gen 2 power unit I now have a micro dan 2510 970kv brushless moter
this moter was a drop in fit. and has more power . I use a 10X6 gws prop
The micro dan 2510 1300 would also be a good choice and uses a 8X4 prop
Both moters are drop in fit. and available at www.gobrushless.com

Hi flattermann just to verify when you mention adout the weight do you mean I can use a motor upto about 50 grams in weight ,being looking so many to choose from please could any one give me some idea about the dimensions of the standard motor is it about 25 mm wide,

A motor of the double weight (around 50 grs.) with 1600 - 1700kv should work as an alternative, prop could be a GWS 8040 (like the original premierrc). When using a 3S LiPo, thrust could be as well around +- 800grs.
