Welcome to FAN-FAIR June 14-16 2013

If you ever had the need to go international nows your chance!
FAN-FAIR is no longer the best kept secret so put us on your must do list.

A basic schedule for the event is as follows:

Friday June 14 Registration open 12:00 Noon (Proof of MAAC or AMA)
The field will be open for general open flying so if you require
Test Flights, Practice and the need to log a speed run.

Friday Evening Pilots and guests meet & greet at a local restaurant to be
announced.

Saturday June 15 Registration open early - Open flying from 9:00 to 4:00pm
Pilots Safety Briefing, Speed contests, Mass Foamy launches, Prizes
and awards. Lunch and canteen available.

Saturday Evening Pilots and guests after event meal at local restaurant to be
announced.

Sunday June 16 General open flying available from 9:00 to 4:00pm.

FAN-FAIR News update!

With just 1 month to go everyone in the club is getting excited. We just held an event update meeting last night!

#1 Directly from the Rideau Flyers clubs new president the following:

Lunch will be BBQ Hamburgs and Hotdogs and we will have a jar on the side with the statement: Free Lunch but Please feel free to Pay whatever you feel it was worth to you.

NOTE HALF OF ALL THE MONEY THAT IS COLLECTED FROM THE LUNCH JAR WILL BE DONATED TO A LOCAL MANOTICK SENIOR'S GROUP

#2 Looks like we will have plenty of prizes for the many pilots. The best way to randomly get them out fairly we are doing the following: Everytime you finish flying you put your name on a ticket and put in a box. Names will be frequently called throughout the day. There will be no raffle draws for 50/50 stuff.

#3 Registration: 10$ for the Saturday - Bring your MAAC or AMA card! - Pilots will all get a information package on local sites etc, club flying rules and a FAN-FAIR bonus keep-sake.

#4 Parking: Campers and or cars with trailers will park at top high ground on the right side as you enter the field. The rest can park on gravel unless directled otherwise as things fill up!
