The SYS input is the data port, but no there are no firmware updates, at this time.

Note: Ignore the satellite and S-Bus connection option, shown on that site, as it doesn't work with this gyro. My eBay seller confirmed this with the manufacturer.

Based on those photos--thank you posting them--it looks like the VCTRC unit is considerably thicker (taller) than the HB800 and Microbeast. Could someone who owns it give me the dimensions? I didn't see them in the first post of this thread. Much obliged.

Thank you, sir! I realize now that the slot for the leads doesn't have that gap that the MB has. I guess that shot also exaggerated the .2mm difference in height to me.
