Not even close. I would think more in the area of at least 25- to 30.. I did a F-86F fuse last year, and it had 27.

Your asking or assuing a quite a bit---to think someone is just going to "GIVE" plans or templates.

Check this out, lots of F14's. You have to join--its free, to download. It also may take awhile to find one with enough sections- if there even is one.? You have to do the work now.

The number of sections depends greatly on the method you plan on using to build your plane. If you are going to build a plug then you need formers spaced about 3" apart. Then strip plank using 3/16" balsa. At that spacing and balsa thickness you should be able to sand the planks without too much trouble. Any closer spacing just isn't necessary. So for a 30" long fuselage you would need 11 sections (one at each end). Remember though that when you make your sections you need to subtract the thickness of the balsa you plan on using for your planking. Others use different methods that may or may not require closer spacing.

As an example here is Matt Halton's F-14. This is 47" in length and as you can see from the build thread has way fewer than 40 sections!

The plans for this plane can be downloaded here in post #9:

and another build thread of this plane:

Builds into a beautiful Tomcat!

I don't know what plan that is, maybe Model Airplane News, but just remember to study some EDF F-14 designs before planning the fan installation in a plane designed for glow ducted fans. On most jets, the fans will need to be placed farther back than they'd be on a glow fan because you need to counteract the weight of the batteries in the nose. On some designs you can place the packs on either side of the fan but with an F-14 the swing wing mechanism will get in the way. Jet Hangar Hobbies has an F-14 laser cut kit in two sizes, you might want to check that out. Search of posts by jetmang on here.

I looked at them from the link--might be from M.A .N. as I have a set. Total of 9+ sheets, each sheet is labled as 1/2, 3/4 etc. If I can. I'll dig them out a post a pic.

Should be 18 pages 2 to each sheet.
