Hmm, rainbow... must be a NY kinda thing!

I use a square knot tied under some tension. And keep a few spares in your toolbox, they get thrown off occasionally.

JT, I plan on putting a drop of CA on the knot.

And my sock are always black, so they won't clash, but for contests, I might just have to step up my game.

This is what I use. They last a long time without breaking and no nots or CA required.

One pack will last you a lifetime, you can even pass them out to everyone at the field, have a rubber band fight, and put several around your finger to remind yourself you don't need to buy any more rubber bands ever.

$10 bucks!!!!!! Too rich for my blood. I'll stick with tying a knot and a drop of CA. and the CA is optional, so you can save some money there.
