where?

hi, i am thinking seriously about getting into electric 1/5 rc motorcycles and was wondering if there was a club/track near to me, i live in romsey, hampshire, uk. the idea was to learn to drive it in our large local car park and then hopefully move on to racing. can anyone help? cheers, john.

were at bedworth tomorrow with the 1/8th's. There two clubs in the country. Skipton and aldershot that run bike meets. the national start soon with racing at skipton, cotswolds, brooklands, mendip, halifax over the year.

Looks like aldershot is the closes to you checking the map so your in good spot for some regular racing along with mendip at weston supermare and cotswolds near cirencester.

15th of march is the next meeting at aldershot for both 1/8th and 1/5th

They normal get a pretty good turn out

Dont get the 27 stock, brushless combo is the way to go but does cost more in the short term but it should last for years and you dont need any equipment to keep it going unlike the 27's. 13.5 is the new stock class limit any size for superbike. I like the losi but it not waterproff!!!!.

The NF a good bike it also make a better donnor bike that the TTe when/if you decide to upgrade to carbon chassie. I would junk the kit tyres and get some PMT 200 slicks, kit tyres not up to much tbh

I try to get down to aldershot as much as possable to race. It a good crowd there that race, we all have a laugh, normly at chris exspence .

Looks like you got what you need to start racing with out buying all the crap you just end up getting ride of. The bikes are very tough last season i did 9 race meets 14 all day practice session at cotwolds and broke 2 spurs and 3 head race bearings in all that track time.

if your ever around trowbridge drop us PM or something and we'll go out for shandy

2100 lipos could be pushing it abit. i use about 2000 mah over a race. You ok to use lipos in each class. I'll still use my 4200 IB this season but a have a 5000 sadle pack lipo to try at some point. I run a differant bike to you hench the sadle pack

I would say you need at least 3300 for a few warm up laps and the race.

Hi i race at aldershot with 13.5 and lipos , i only use 900mampes in 5 mins of racing. so you should be good to go.
