Micro Swift from SoaringUSA

Anyone checked this out on the SoaringUSA site yet?

Micro Swift

It's a 50" wingspan version of the Swift S-1, one of the most successful fullscale aerobatic gliders ever made. Pretty sweet! Price seems good too... any flight reports? I've had my eye on this for a while, glad to see it's made it here.

Here's the link to the Micro Swift's website on Mibo Models:

Sweet little plane! Fully hollow molded, and flies well (check out the video on SUSA's site).

hey that's odd. i've been looking for a box for my gliders. i have a large keyboard case that i use to transport my gliders in and was looking to have individual boxes that would fit inside the keyboard case that could be used separately and also would all fit inside the case. i was planning on getting 4 gliders in their boxes inside the case. i needed to find the perfect box, disassemble it and trace it to be fabricated out of coroplast. i've been looking for quite some time now. the box that the micro swift comes in looks perfect. i think my search is over. can't beat the $189 price tag. oh, and it comes with a free glider inside!

that looks nice.

How durable would it be? Could it take some rough landings? I am used to combat EPP planes. Don't expect that level of durability, but the slopes I fly don't have easy LZ's.

Mr. I,
I was looking at the same plane, and the salto version, and I was just wondering how it flies. If I knew, I would probably decide whether to get it or not If I knew how it flies. Looks pretty light, nice crunchy for weasel winds.

Hi Steve,
good to see you back at RCG

based on reviews from Germany the Micro Swift flys great w/o any bad behaviours and the quality is good as well.

I've been wanting to try a little scale plane. That looks neat. Too bad I have no money! Maybe Bob needs someone to review it.

I asked the owner of Aeromicro up here in NorCal to order some of these in his next batch, he seemed sincerely interested and took my printout off the SUSA website.
