Question
servos malfunction at full power

When I launched my AXN Floater Jet glider, it flew normally at first, but when I applied full power the servos(s) went nuts and it went out of control. When I backed off on the throttle, I regained control and it flew normally. I brought it up to altitude and tried full throttle again, and again it flew out of control. I again backed off on the throttle, regained control, and landed it normally. Does anyone have an idea what it could be? I'm guessing the ESC is bad. it's a fresh 2200 3S battery JG and a 30 amp speed control with 3 amp BEC. JG

yes, its an ESC issue - brad baker had the same problem here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...441528&page=28
changing ESC should fix it.

Thanks for the input. I'm thinking that when I apply full power, it robs the BEC, which supplies power to the servos. I'll replace the ESC. JG
