Split signal off of T1000FC for use in Taranis telemetry

Does anyone know if it is possible to split the signal line on an existing GPS which is utilized for the T1000FC autopilot to provide data for the FrSky smart port?

In other words, rather than buying a second GPS to provide telemetry data to the FrSky Taranis, I'd like to split the signal line on my existing GPS of the T1000FC autopilot and then feed it into the smart port.

Any ideas if that is feasible/possible?
