AXI 2814/22 Droidworx Problem or NO ?

Hello.
I own a Octo XL Droidworx V3
Specs:
1xFrame Droidworx AD-8HL extended
1xBig Droidworx pipes, 465 mm. HL version
1xPhotoHiger Camera Mount AV-200 Pro
1xExtended landing gear for AD-8HL
2xTurnigy 5000mAh 4S 30C Lipo Pack

Mikrokopter electronic ( FC, Navi, GPS, Bl )

The motors i use are: 8pcs of AXI 2814/22 MikroKopter special motor ( http://mikrokopter.altigator.com/axi...otor-p-58.html )

The total weight of drone including camera is 5600gr ( 5.6 kg )
Can the motors pull this weight or it is overload and i will burn motors ?
Please help, i want to know if i have to change the motors.

Thank you!

Hello,

When i use ecalc.ch i get error if i put 2xTurnigy 5000mAh 4S in parallel. If i put 1xLiPo of 10000mAh works fine.
What is the problem ?
I don-t trust this calculator I just want to know if someone uses this motors on octo to pull up this weight or more ( 5.6 kg )

Thank you!

Hi there! Sorry - I just happen to stumble upon your message in some search - I am not usually active in this forum.

But while I'm here: in answer to your question... Totally perfect your setup. Optimum prop load for this engine (50% throttle) is 700 grams so this takes you exactly to the 5.6 AUW with 8 engines. Couldn't be better! You can lift more weight of course, but your load comes in perfectly on the sweet spot.

The 465mm booms are not stock standard - the standard 410mm booms with 12" props would have done well too and would have made the craft somewhat more compact. But people are getting great results on the longer booms as well and you can fit 13" props.

You have all the right components for a successful build - let us know how you go. If you have any further questions please contact us via email since I don't monitor this forum space... contact@droidworx.co.nz...

Thanks a lot and much success!

Regards,
Linda
