Zagi First Flight - Oh dear.
I have just got back from the first flight with the Zagi. It was'nt only the Zagi's first flight but mine too in well over a year!
A friend and I pulled up to a field and the weather was'nt too bad, But as soon as i got setup and finished instructing him to launch it parrallel to the ground the wind picked up.
Every time he went to launch it would gust easily upto 20Mph.
My friend Steven ready for launch
Now with my inexperience (Having never flown a delta wing ever before) and exitement I knew that at some point today I would be picking bits out of the ground so i decided to just go for it.
6 Crashes later and the Zagi is still in 1 peice. This is the best aircraft to learn with. One of the crashes was from 40 foot up and I managed to nose it straight into the ground and it still lives!
Here it is after the punishment :

Your Photo seems a bit odd... Why are both elevons down? You must have been trying to keep your friend from becoming airborne.
