It's a little more bigger, about 1/2' taller.. but will be ok, it's CF!!!

No MORE Broken Props!!!!

Hi!! here a better video of today's flight, the landings were terrible!! but the camera it's better... it's a gopro2 on my head (the wife was leaved alone at home...).

A nice flight in the video.
The only thing wrong is the curving horizon.

Thanks!, the curvature of the video is from the GoPro it self, the lens is built like that for close up filming, it's not a camera for filming far away..

Hi Pablo,

I have been doing allot of flying and maintenance on my current fleet, so no progress on the RV4 build lately. Hopefully do a little bit in the coming weeks. Do need to finish it by November as have entered it in a club contest, so will have to get "cracking" on it.

Will update once I make some progress. Hope you are enjoying flying your!

Nice flight!!

Flying is going well, should get my 'wings' the next week or so. Actually taking tomorrow off to dedicate some time to the build. I'm premounting the motor and will try to get the fuel proofing and servos on tomorrow. Then it wil be time to do the ABS stuff, fuel lines a few odds and ends then attempt to cover.

I'm open to what you all feel would be a good prop for this with an OS55.

Hi Bunkai, According to the OS55AX Manual, you will need a minimum Prop of 12X7, but I'm not sure if gonna give you enough clearance from the ground with the original landing gear, I fly with Rossi 45 (has the same power as the OS55AX) and 10X7 or 11X6 and goes great, now I'm flying with 10X7X3.
In any case for engine break-in I recommend you to do it with a small prop and low pitch (with the Rossi, I used 10X4)

A 12x7 will likely be too much prop for that engine. I would start with a 10x7 or 10x6 then move up as required to get into the "sweet" spot for your engine after it has some run time on it.

got my wings last night

I'm ready to start the abs cowl and stuff then prepare for covering. Will do the servos and stuff after that. I know I've a way to go to finish. Still not sure if it will fly this season.
