Nice cars! Loved RC cars as a kid but I always wanted a sailplane. Finally got into RC Sailplanes as an adult but tired of the high start/bungee launches and the tons of walking you would have to do just to retrieve the bungee and start all over for a 90 second flight.

Then RC electric planes came along and I was hooked for life. Airplanes were always my first love. Especially Warbirds.

Opened up to inspect and everything was is great condition. It does
have the new improved stronger hub--Great!!. Wing looks good to me. Nothing on box about V2 bit I do believe it is the updated version as there is a near horizontal line from wing tip thru prop hub but pics are attache and everyone can make their own conclusion--I am happy with what I have :-)

I emailed them with the question on being gaurenteed the V2 shipped to Pa , emailed twice , no responce and I was very respectful in my question and committed to buy on the spot if the plane is confimred as V2 and shipped in that manner

Very pleased with everything so far. I was hoping the wings would be plug in type like my 1.7 P47. The Corsair wings join together with tube spare then cradle into fuse same as most typical RC planes. Same as my 1.4 Corsair.
I am going to use the molex type wing connectors on my larger gas planes. sure makes it simple to connect with no errors. Have ordered some from rc-castle

FMS supplies an 85 amp. It's a bit cheaper than the 100 amp ice, and has a built in 20A BEC.

If you want to have a Casle ESC, I see they have just come out with a 90 amp one you may be interested in. It's called the Talon and has a husky BEC built in and it's a litlle cheaper than the ICE.

I see the ESC has red wire to RX and it also has the UBEC. So does that mean it has a buit in SBEC plus the separate UBEC?

BH is too much! I ordered a blue 1700mm on Wednesday. They billed my PayPal and it went from New Status to approved by the end of the day. Two days later, it is still approved and they are out of stock????

The 1400mm Petie P-51 showed up in stock this week, but when I went to order it, I could not click on "Buy Now", because the next screen showed up as "Out of Stock". I emailed them and asked if they had it or not. I never got an answer, but a couple hours later, all of the 1400mm V7 P-51 changed from "out of stock" to "backordered".

I also noticed that they bumped the price on the F4U $30 this morning. They still have the Gey one, but I will hold out for somehting else.

I am going to call them when they open and find out what the deal is. I'm glad that I used PayPal. I may have a chance of getting my money back.

What is really nice about the kit is that they give you extra wing mounting screws and control horn screws. I ruined a wing mounting screw because of the thread issue reported previously. I was really happy when I found an extra one in the kit.

Mine had too much toe in which I corrected by using a dremel cut off wheel and touching up the flat.

The axles use snap rings which I hate because they always come off and bye bye wheel. I am going to JB weld them on.

I am putting one receiver in the wing to run the wing servos and retracts and another receiver in the fuselage to run everything else. That way I only have to connect a power lead when attaching the wing.
