Help!
radio help

I'm due for a new radio. I have narrowed it down to three choices:

Spektrum Dx6i
Spektrum Dx7s
Futaba 8j---- where im leaning.

Let me get this straight: i am not interested in any bind n fly stuff.

i need the 6 channel recivers around $30 or less

so far imleaning toward the futaba. More channels for about the same price as the dx7s. i have no need for telemetry as i condider it a distraction. The plus for spektrum is the reciver diversity and dirt-cheap recievers .

I have heard the dx6i feels like crap. Futaba is well built. The guys at my lhs are biased to jr. that is out of my price range= $300

I need input. you can also suggest transmitters. i have also been looking at the turnigy 9xr coming out soon.

plz give input! you can also suggest radios

price: >300
channels: 6 or more cus i fly helis.

thanks

A DX6i is not a bad radio and there are lots of Blade models to chose from. A DX7 is better, nicer feel and the extra channel is good if you ever decide to try quads. I used to have Futaba and it's a great radio, but there's no RTF helis that use it.
