Question
alternative battery for UDI U818A

Just purchased a UDI U818A quad copter and was wondering about a replacement battery for the original. Comes with a 3.7V 500mAh no-name battery. Also can I step up the power slightly and if so what could I use as a replacement. this is my first quad. Thankx!

Amazon lists higher mah batteries like 600mah and 750mah I believe. But some have reported they don't fit in the battery well too well. You could attach the battery under the camera I suppose if that is the case. Say you know the prop guard pops off, right? It is much lighter (has longer flight times) and flies much better.

Bill,

I don't see where the U818a prop guard pops off without taking the entire skin off the flying unit. If that is what you mean, then if you want exposed circuit board and wires, yes it does.
