Yep cut it down a little to reduced the FSA to 80% which is what I like on the Wicked Wemo combo.

I have several batts ranging from 1500 mAh to 2100...They all weigh close to the same but make the model pretty nose heavy..Are you adding any weight to the tail???

I maidened mine today with the tip tanks off and via doppler I am getting 85 mph and that is with a 3S1800 pack. The CG with the heavier pack is about 1/2" ahead of the recommended spot but was fine for me.

Can't wait to see a vid. You are flying yours the way I will fly mine when I get it. I don't care for the tip tanks.....

Whew. So I won't be arrested for slicing the tanks off my L-39?

No complaints from me! I do not like tip tanks. If they were smaller maybe but they are just to big on the T33.

The tip tanks look great on the L-39. But from this pic of the real one that our models are made after, it looks like they aren't always there....

And as much as I like the looks of the T-33 with the tanks, there is no way that they are helping with the thrust to weight ratio. With them gone it will be better in looks and performance.

The T-33 is very fast without the tanks! But I prefer to fly mine with them since it looks so cool with them on! That 6000kv set up seems to be very good!
