Almost ready to maiden mine... will Hysol bits and bobs. Should I use the manuals CG? Any adjustments to it?

EDIT: CG is 1.3" forward the main spar. I know the panthers have a forward CG, but that's nearly where the grey paint meets the yellow. Unless I am mistake. What's the CG measured from the LE from the intakes?

May change the wheels to MPI aluminum wheels... I had these lying around.

Panther and Cougar

Does anyone have any videos of flights with the Cougar and Panther. I would pick both up. But want to see some flights. Also how is the weight on these models. I would put a JF 90mm 12s 3300. Works great in a few of my other 90mm setups.

Well if you have any photos and or videos please put some links. I saw someone say a sale. I checked the website didn't see a sale. If they are readying the thread can I save some cash by purchasing two models on shipping??

Well be interested in the weight compare to model I currently have of the Panther.

My dry weight is just under 3.2kg. The 9s (3 x 3700mah) lipos I plan to use are 924g - although it appears I need heavier lipos to get the CG right... maybe one or two 5000mah.

any new updates on this easytiger panther. I'm planning on putting one together soon with retracts and a 8s etremerc fan with wemo evo 11 blade that puts out approx. 9 and 1/2 lbs of thrust. Sounds good right? On a 1 to 10 how would you guys that have built these jets, rate it? thanks for any info and wise tips on its construction. thanks, Stephan

Haven't maidened it yet. LOL. After the holidays I got the FPV bug baaad so the jets went into hibernation and now my panther needs a better battery tray to hold 10s. On 8s, it's an insane amount of power already. Can't imagine on 10.

I also have the CMP t45 (built) and the CMP Cougar (half built). All need hysol here and there. The CMPs definitely need carbon tow in the intakes. Also started the ProDesign Mig 15 a few days ago after finishing the foamy Exceed mig 70mm (with extra weight for practice).

Wing loading is high with retracts and 8s.
You will definitely need the flaps.

Good luck.

Have one almost ready with RC Lander12 blade metal fan for 8s and YEP 120 esc. It has retracts made for the HK cougar with wheels on the outside of the main struts so they clear the duct when retracted. The plane weighs 7 pounds dry but has a rear that is too heavy. I have an extra Taft 90mm fan and was wondering if an HET 650-68-1500 on 10s is too much for that fan. Taft fan is lighter and I know it can handle 8s. Thanks for all input.
