The mast is a foil section with miniature harken track on the back side for sail slides. The prototype cost about $70usd to layup. With boom and other fittings around $100. Version2.0 will be slightly different, but pretty similar.

Sidetracked with a ten foot open type boat we are starting. This is a "sit in" model. Writing on some components for the deck to arrive so we can lay that out.

We're close to releasing some pics of the hulls.

Hull number 1 has been pulled from the mold. We'll have detailed pics this afternoon of the hull, the layup, the plug and the mold. Just need to clean up the PVA residue. Deck should be on tomorrow, or close to being on. At least dry fit in place so we can get internal issues worked out. check out tp52model.blogspot.com for details later today/tonight.

glass boats we are looking at about $100 for the hull and deck. carbon about $250.

I have four carbon boats ordered, and one glass hull we'll start laying up next week. We want to check hull number one first. Unfortunately this project dragged out a little longer than expected. but the wait has been WELL worth it for us. We have an amazing looking clear coat carbon hull for our first model.

I would like to have a go at building one of your hulls but I can not find a link to the hull file down load. I have been to your blog that shows all of the great work but just can't find a link. I'm I blind or just a bit thick ?.
