Battery Charger Question

I have a 12V battery charger that I want to use to charge my 7amp 12V battery. It says on the charger: Output 12V 9.6w

What is the charge rate? How many ma?

Hello sgil2001:

12 V, 9.6 W => 9.6/12 = 0.8 A is the max current that you can get out of the battery charger and usually is lower than that.

To charge a 12 V, 7 AH battery, then it will take about 7/0.8 = 8.75 Hours in theory for a fully depleted battery.
