Seemingly they dont have the rfm23bp modules which seem to be rather hard to find.

Yep, can't find them anywhere, if I wanted the rfm22b then I would just order from HK and also get the complete circuit board and arduino setup for cheap
I flew again this weekend but had issues completely unrelated to the RX or TX. The OpenLRS seems to work really well, keep on going with the telemetry code Kah

Anyways you don't happen to sit on a bunch of rfm23bs and could sell one to Sweden?

I got mine via TimeCop, and that is actually the reason he has some in stock. I can highly recommend getting them from him (it makes sense to grab some naze:s at the same time .

Cool. I got a pair en-route now.
Im not that much into multi-rotors otherwise I guess the Naze's would make sense .

Anyways, the RFM23B has the same pinout as the 22's right? except that it is slightly longer. (im thinking of hacking one of my OrangeRX with some simple extensions on one side cuz im lazy, but otherwise I'll have to dig out my PCB making equipment again...

Mostly... it seems that rxant/txant pins are swapped. And it is about twice as long.

What exactly is the function of those pins? Are these signal and ground for the antenna?

Well I have not looked too deep but datasheet states that they need to be set high/low according to tx/rx mode. They are connected to gpio pins of the module and the module is configured to handle that automatically.

Not the RFM most of you are looking for, but interesting none the less for a 100mW Tx/Rx version.

That is a RFM12B which is quite different chip than RFM2x devices as it is basically just modem and does not have the packet handling functionality.

I have to say the OrageRX openLRS RX is quite nice for a general purpose RFM22 + arduino board combo (even thou RFM is not connected to SPI)..

Another RFM23BP source (EU) (7.44€)

http://webshop.ideetron.nl/Webwinkel...7/RFM23BP.html

Be sure to select the 433MHz version if planning to use for openLRS.

Nice find.
Even has the RFM22B-S2. Going to get some to swap the ones in the HK RX's.
