My Flying Silo

So I had a good time building the S400 Spitfire and she flies real fine.
But I'm now going to tackle the Gee Bee-Z
Hmmm Flying Silo, Manhole cover, Widow Maker, are a few of the names I know for this Plane.
Any one know some more???

So Will be using Free Plans found on Internet
At this Russian Site http://skyflex.air.ru/pages/files_dxf.shtml

So after converting and scaling the plans to work in Auto Cad I begun to rework the Plans to suit my CNC Router.

As to Scale? Well I havent figured it out yet since at the Hobby Shop there was this Radial Cowl for a Dollar$ That's Perfect Sold!
so building around the Cowl Hmmm?
Any one good with math ?? My scaling of the plans turned out to 21.5" and should allow me room to swing a 12"prop

First piece cut out is the Firewall .
Here I epoxiesd a sheet of carbon fiber to the 1/16 ply and routed out the piece.
Tried to make it look like a radial under the cowl plus it adds good cooling slots.
$1 cowl to the side. Motor mount is for a GD Maxxor unit of 4.4;1

Not as expensive as i thought, what else will you need? auto CAD i assume, and will it cut sheet metal?

I assume you live in Brampton US and not Brampton Uk (where i live) and that you know what your name implies.

You've kinda ruined my day know, i knew it wasn't brampton UK but i was still holding out, still hoping that i was wrong and that there was a guy with a CNC router in my area that would cut some stuff for me for a couple of bottles of Chivas Regal. I'm going to go to my room and cry now :'(

PS:
You got killed by PanzyPoof in what?

Firewall was last to join as I had to use Ammonia to get the stringers to comply.
Could be a slight problem as I failed to measure prop adaptor or prop clearence on LE of nose cowl , OOps!
I love this stuff
