Bridi-G/P Cosmic Wind

OK, it's not really a "Giant" but technically, it is "giant scale", as it's 27%.
I had a Testors plastic RTF c/l model of the Little Toni, when I was a kid, and always had a soft spot for them. Then right after I got back into R/C, about 15 or so years ago, I saw one of the Bridi models done as a the "Little Toni" and knew I had to have one someday.
It's an epoxy glass fuse, foam wing and tail, kit. I have been working on this about a week or so. So far I have worked out the motor mount, sheeted all the flying surfaces, and hinged & shaped the elevators. I plan to use either 6s, with about a 15x12 prop, or possibly 8s w/ a smaller prop.
After I get most of the airframe built, and can determine where the battery should be, I will cut a hatch in the top of the fuse.
Not going to be a detailed build thread, but I will post pics of progress as I go along. feel free to ask any questions or contribute to the thread.

Wing is nearly done. Just taped together now to check the joint angle. All the ailerons are shaped and hinged. Decided to use the torque rod control, because I didn't want the controls hanging under the wings. I will use a separate servo on each aileron. I will separate the halves to finish shaping the L/E and tips. Wind is howling today, so will be a good day to sand outdoors.

Still going, but progress has been slow. Got the battery hatch cut, and the servo tray and pushrods worked out. I have also done the belly fairing and tail surface fillets.
I also came across 1/4 scale plastic corrugations from Park Flyer Plastics, that perfect for the correct look on the flying surfaces. That's one of the things was holding me up. I could not decided how, or if I even wanted to do the corrugated surfaces. From scratch, they would have been extremely hard to cover with glass or film. These are perfect and only need paint.

OK, life's been in the way here for a few months, but the build has gotten back on track. Started glassing the wings today. Hope to glass the top tomorrow, and maybe the stab and fin as well.
Then all the finish work will start.
