Success!!
Success!! My RD6000 is now up and fully functional on 2.4Ghz! It really wasn't rocket science once I was able to locate the PPM access point.
I pulled Gnd off of the gnd1 point on the board, V++ from the top of the on/off switch, and the PPM signal off of the trainer plug. A quick note here: The trainer plug on the RD6000 is a bit strange. Looking at the plug from the front, the signal in lead is at the far right, or Pin 5 if counting clockwise from the left. What's strange, is that the lead on my xmtr was black! Who uses black as a signal lead? There's a diagram of the plug at: OnGuard has posted an image of the plug at: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1098611&page=7 This little adventure wouldn't have been possible without the help of Scott Morton. Scotty, a big shout out and THANK YOU! for your time and advice. Leonard |
