Slow Stick Legacy
No one ever forgets their first love and so many people has learn to fly with the GWS Slow Stick, including my son, and the BowStick seem to be a little much for him (especially sense he crashed it) so I built this SS Legacy with ailerons for him. It was love at first site. For him and me! I built it so he could fly it with his DX5e and now I want one for my DX5e.
![]() It fly's just like the old slow stick but much more controllable. I'll post the plans just in case you might want one as well. The new foam parts are easy to cut out and they replace the old foam parts on your GWS Slow Stick. So pull out those old slow sticks and give them new life and have fun. I hope you enjoy the thread. I made the Legacy for my son so I'm going to build me a Legacy wing for my SS and put servo extentions on the receiver, then color code them. When flying the SS I'll use the dark blue extentions (rudder and elevator on the right - throttle on the left), when flying the Legacy wing on it, I'll use the light blue extintions (ailerons and elevator on the right - throttle and rudder on the left) I'll have two planes in one and still use my DX5e without having to "re-bind" to fly them. ![]()
