Wanting to Try Tech One Aerobatic Plane

I consider myself a basic to slightly advanced R.C. foamy electric pilot. I can fly my electric glider and pop wing and other 3-cell electric airplanes. I can do rolls and big loops.

Anyway, one of my favorite things to fly is my Pop Wing. That thing runs forever on a 3-cell 2200mah lipo and I'm so confident with it I can even fly it in some what windy conditions.

Now I want to try one of those Tech One EPO sport planes. Something like this:
http://www.nitroplanes.com/02a-102-k...-blue-arf.html

Now the questions: Are these kind of planes strong? My Pop Wing is a strong wing and if I hit the soft ground a little too hard it does not get damaged. Are those EPO airplanes also durable and easily repairable?

Since I can fly a pop wing and other R.C. airplanes, including an EDF jet, would I have any problems flying one of those EPO Tech One sport planes?

Finally, any recommendations on a good EPO sport plane that is good for someone like me who had not done advanced stunts but now want's to try them. I really want to try hovering in one spot. That is very cool looking when an R.C. plane points up and hovers.

Thanks!

You want EPP not EPO for more strength. Tech one is one of many good flyin planes. There is some EPP planes like those that are $25 I just can't remember where I saw them now. Others here should help find them.

For the price you could buy electronics you trust and cut some thick foam yourself.... of course you wouldn't have the pretty paint job.

Of the Tech One planes, I have the little Venus, which is a fun flier.

None of the 3D foam planes are going to hold up to hard landings like your wing.

Interesting. I didn't know I could get the body for $24. I just might get it from Value hobby and then buy the other parts for it from ebay or hobbyking.
