Pirotti Models Tuono 'Easy'

Got this off Facebook. Not listed on their site yet. 1.4m wingspan version of the Tuono for turbine and electric. At least one turbine airframe manufacturer has got their brain switched on. Will be interesting to see the price in comparison to the Habu etc.

hmmm i think there may be 30+ 90mm f-18's f-14's and another mig but i think what we want and what we get are yet again going to be 2 different things. Im glad to see something like this i hope it sells by the truck load it may wake the other manufacturers up.

buongiorno a tutti

saluti a tutti, vi terrò informati su futuri aggiornamenti, greg89

That looks pretty sweet
It's almost as big as the spark, so it's a nice size model

I like it, thanks for sharing

I spoke with Signor Pirotti at the Jet World Masters recently they will release the model at Jet Power next month.

Wingspan is 55 inches
Fuse is 59

Much better proportions than a Spark

I agree..nicer looking than a spark also

great to see something poping up... I was worried with the economy we would never see anything new coming, until things got better

so great to see this one... I like it...pretty sport plane and different, sick of the same things

Huh, I don't get it with new product releases lately.
A nice new edf product but with no ducting. Seems like several MF do take the easy route to offer a turbine plane as an edf. And not forget MF of fans do provide intake lips along with their fans (or integrated on the shroud) to avoid the need for intake tubes.

Are we stepping back to the cheater hole technology or what? Just too lazy to make things right?

(And I haven''t even mentioned the horrible large on/off switch on that fuse and no brakes)

I'm not abrassive just for fun, but what fan has been used for reference here in this vid?Is that a wooden hub or an EVF?
Seems like a random choice of hardware to me.
And why would one integrate air retracts in a new design? Dimension wise it could be very hard to install e-retracts.

The canopy area looks very similar to the Mako jet.
