cheap FPV glasses ?

Hi,

I currently have an 7" LCD monitor + Boscam TX & RX used for my quadcopter, but this equipment takes to much space .. while I wanna use it when hiking .. not that convenient ..

I also wonder why isn't there more of these glasses or the web

My Idea : if I buy video goggles ( cheapest than fatshark : http://www.amazon.com/Virtual-AV-Vid.../dp/B00IODX98U , but no real "test" over it ) to replace my current fpv monitor, will this "work" or be acceptable ?

Otherwise shall I directly buy a Fatshark ? ( and sellmy boscam TX & RX by the way ? )

Thanks for any enlightment

Resolution is only 320x240. That’s not even close to being good enough to fly a FPV aircraft. You will just have to stick with the monitor until you can afford some quality goggles.

Go find a FPV video on Youtube, here's one you can try
Bixler 2 FPV 2.2km (15 min 10 sec)
.
Watch it in 480p then switch to 240p, that's kind of the difference between good goggles and cheap, low res ones.

Cheers,
Geoff

Fatshark is pretty compact compared to the strap a video screen to your face diy style goggles. A 7" wide screen doesn't benefit that much from being high-def. You get a crappy image no matter how high def your stuff is.

Don’t know why they would even bother with making something like that. Today’s standard is 1080p and tomorrow’s standard is 4K. It’s a waist of money to manufacture such a device.

Thanks for all of your messages, I've bought it anyways, since there's isn't such cheap & compact alternative, the 240p resolution will be enough for me
