For those interrested: RT Sirius Eleven (the successor of previous 2010 RT Super Sirius) is now listed on Hacker (Germany) homepage but delivery time "on request" so they have it not in stock yet. I have a Super Sirius and will probably try a Sirius Eleven when it is in stock.
Plane is available as only the plane or a combo with Hacker A10-15S motor+X-5-Pro ESC.

What meant by "Negative Elevator"?

Hi,

It mean the stabilizer including elevator has somewhat swep down like a upside down V.
Here is a picture of the plane from behind where You can see the stab is not straight but negative V-shape.
Also notice the airbrakes on elevator, rudder and ailerons.

Thanks for the link to the video - great flying and show a skilled pilot can fly it in small spaces. I will keep my eyes open when Hacker have it in stock so I can get one before they sell out Who knows if it will will sell like hot cakes but I guess it will. This Sirius Eleven is in my opinion one of the few indoor F3P planes that really appeal to the eyes (at least my eyes), not just fly very good.

Hi,

I got two RT Sirius Eleven today. Some pictures of kit content below. I will use Hacker A10-15S motor (15 gram/0.53 oz), Castle Creations Phoenix 10 ESC (6 gram/0.21 oz), DesirePower V8 300 mAh 2S 35C (15 gram/0.53 oz), 3 Hitec HS-5035HD servos (3 x 4.5 gram/0.16 oz =13.5 gram/0.48 oz) and Futaba R6004FF receiver (3.3 gram/0.11 oz).
Nice quality on depron parts, detailed 21 pages color building manual in English/German. I hope to have time soon to build them (after Christmas, to little time before). Took 8 days from order to delivery (from Hacker in Germany to my country, Sweden).

I use previous RT Super Sirius today and I have high expectations on this new RT Sirius Eleven.

several pilots has great sucsess with this engine here in Norway, get about 3,5 min flight with 2s 180 mah hyperion , one nice thing is that motor and esc is one unit and weight is wery good , http://www.verticalhobby.com/kauppa/...-w-p-2443.html

Great looking plane! What is the benefit of the negative sweep of the elevator?

HotFlyAlex, could you ask Robin what are the reasons for the negative V in the tail? I'm a bit baffled why it is there since a F3P plane should behave the same in inside and outside moves and thus be as symmetrical as possible aerodynamically. Is it maybe to get more clean air around the elevator? If it is just there for looks, I think I'm going to build mine straight.

I have just started building mine and the parts look very good and they are light except the wheels (0.57 g each) that could be lighter. I also like the instructions that are very detailed with nice photos. I agree that this is one of the best looking F3P models available.

He said you have to decide what is more important for you, the design or the flight conditions.
For him the most important thing was a beautiful and "up-todate" design, so they decided to make a negative elevator. For sure with that elevator you need a mixer.
So if the flightconditions are most important, you should build the plane without negative trim but it looks not as elegant as with the negatice elevator.
