I didn't know but what I understood you guys were going indoors. I may have heard wrong. Rents to much down here unless you want some scrappy looking warehouse place. Most need to much work. I looked at a few locations a few years ago with Mitch and Robert. Cost was very high for a mere 4000 square feet.

For now were outdoors at a church in Nashville. With the us here we found it hard to hold races. Most of our schedules conflicted with others so turnout was constantly low. We still together off and on but its easier for those who have availabilty to travel up to race with Robert. Plus our track setup is much smaller. I don't think we could ever do indoors. Robert might if he finds the right building and a decent landlord.

Theres places around here for rent. How big of a place would we need to hold a race indoors? I live on the outskirts of Nashville myself.

True there probably is but your to far out for rc racing. Look if we raced or offered off road it would be a different story. A more industrial or retail place is best for rc onroad. Its just the demographic.

Don didn't the owner give you the shaft? I remember you telling us about him. He didn't want you to do upgrades out of your "own" pocket or some bs? Funny how some would rather see their property sit empty and write it off as a loss vs renting it out and getting good money for it.

That would be him Trek. I offered to do most improvements for free but he didn't want anything or allow anything to be done. He wanted to leave the inside and outside the way it was. Sad to say as it was wasn't good enough for us to race or even drive in in its present condition. Cracks were o the floor. Bad lighting and outlets were needed for the pit area.

Why not use it for a indoor track and only do what is needed Don?

I checked the building out with Don when he had the idea. Its a money pit. Meaning it has lighting, surface and electric outlet issues for rc racing in general. Don told the guy he'd do all the upgrades but the guy wouldn't go for it. Not sure why he couldn't give Don or I an answer. Don and I walked away and that was it.
