Thanks B/C. Oddly enough I bought two kites there last year just for the center connecting pieces
Now, dig in a lot of spare parts to find them..

Al,

Last year when I was there the field was short grass with puddles.
When I arrived yesterday the terrain was redone and sand surfaced.
As this is on a Industrial park I think they will preparing it for construction soon.
Nearby there is an other part wich is still untouched and as good to fly on.
I tried the delta too but.....channels were reversed. So it took a nosedive at lift off (down).
Had to repair it but it flew afterwards, no video there taken.

Oh guys long time no post, I am back and better than ever..
FYI 10 of the kids finished the planes, the rest took the bits home over the xmas break. I no longer work at the school though

Yes , if you keep the airframe construction light weight .

im planning to build it with 6mm depron and some cf rods from cheap kites.
i have flown AET planes before but never had a plane with Rudder on it.
what weight should i be aiming for? i know the motor i will be using can get up to 485 grams of thrust max.

For good performance , no more than 300 grams AUW . In my opinion , ALL planes fly better if kept lightweight .
