THE coolest FPV footage ever!

has this been discussed?

DEDICAM @ PAKISTAN ( TRANGO TOWERS) (2 min 42 sec)

21,000' or 6000m in the Pakistan mountains. so amazing! would this need to be some specialized setup? says the camera was gopro, there's obv a ton of stabilization done in post, BUT this quad is flying at those elevations which is incredible.

at like :20 into the vid he launches the quad and then lands it at the end - anyone care to venture a guess on the setup?

Looks like a DJI flight controller by the thing that appears to be a compass mounted on the top.

I find it hard to understand how the quad can fly up thousands of feet to film the tops of the mountains. Can someone explaine or am I just missing something

Human climbs to the top and launches the quad. He didn't fly all the way up from sea level.

hmm idk the video implies that the pilot is down below(not sea level but ~18000')

it was shot by dedicam from switzerland, so maybe their quad pilots are mountaineers but i'm guessing not as you'd have to be an incredible mountaineer to climb to 20,000' in the Trango Towers.

Probably long-range radio from ~600m down? that's my guess.

How far can a long-range radio reach?
